This will be lost on those of you who don't watch Red Dwarf, but I swear the following exchange, which took place an hour ago, happened exactly as printed.
Joshua: [indicating the bathroom cord, swinging from the ceiling] I want that!
Me: The, er, light switch?
Joshua: Can I have it?
Me: Not really. I need it to turn the lights on and off…
