Communication breakdown

Josh's life skills seem to be developing at an alarming rate. The same can be said for his vocabulary - he seems to pick up a few new words per week. The latest seem to be "No" and "Ah".

Observe -

"Josh? Shall we put the biscuit cutters back in the playdough box?"
"No."
"Come on. For me?"
"No."
"Well, Daddy will do it himself, then. No, don't climb on the dining chair, please - you'll fall."
<mischievous laughter>
"Joshua, please get down."
"Git-daa!"
"Do it, please, don't just say it."
<awkward stumbling to floor level>
"Good boy. No, shall we put these away?"
"Sss."
"That's it. Well done! Great, now put them in here...like that....good boy. That's right, nearly done - no, don't tip-"
<clattering sound of plastic hitting carpet as assorted dough pots, rollers and cookie cutters fall onto the floor>
"Josh, you tipped them all out!"
"Ah."
